Giving

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

- Matthew 6:21

Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways To Give

Give Online

Giving online is the fastest, most secure way to donate to Life Center Church. You must start with the amount you'd like to give by clicking on the big $0 on top.  Then, you can continue to choose where you would like your gift to go. When you are finished, you can click the green "Next." This will take you to a secure site to send your financial gift. The first time you fill out the form, it will ask you to register for your own personal account. Or if you are not comfortable with that, you can just click "Continue as guest."  It will also ask you to register your banking information, if you are giving by ACH (a normal way banks transfer money from your account to the church's account). Or, if you prefer, it will ask you to register your credit card number, security code and expiration date of your card. Our giving site will allow you to donate the fees necessary to transact a digital gift. ACH  fees are much lower, but take a couple extra days to transfer money from your bank account. Credit card fees are higher, because the  credit card companies charge a percentage to use their service. Either way, you can help out the church by paying those fees. If you do not wish to offset those fees, that's not a problem, we have budgeted for both ACH and credit card fees.

Give In Person

Every week we still make giving a priority at Life Center by physically passing around the plates to collect both tithes and offerings. It is a part of our worship service because we strongly believe the financial giving is an act of worship. Giving and being generous is not only a character quality of being a disciple, it is one of the marks of maturity as someone grows in their faith. Yes, money can be a very difficult topic to discuss, yet Jesus talks about money more than anything else in the gospels. Our hearts truly follow our finances!

Mail A Check

Yes! Folks still mail in their checks. In fact, if it had not been for the faithfulness of our committed givers throughout the pandemic when we could not publicly meet together, we would not have made it financially. Our giving and even our mission's giving continued to come in through the mail. Our address is: Candlewood Church, 6022 Candlewood St., Lakewood, California 90713.
