Whatever beauty, power and ability comes out of us as a believer, it is inspired and enabled by the Spirit. When we think love, wish-whisper a prayer or behave bravely it’s been initiated the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is powerful, but also subtle. The Spirit is mighty, but also meek and humble. The force of the Spirit can be felt but not seen. The Spirit warns, but also brings warmth. Some of us fear the mystery and movement of the Spirit, but would gladly welcome his control rather than our own chaos. The shalom peace that surpasses understanding, the calm that guards heart and mind comes from the Spirit of God as we follow Jesus.
